Everyday cleaning
Keep the care instructions supplied with the selected fronts and worktop. Where permitted, use a soft cloth with a mild cleaning solution, then dry the surface. Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads and strong cleaners unless the actual product instructions allow them. Do not assume that all aluminum coatings have the same chemical resistance.
Matte and glossy fronts
Cleaning methods depend on the finish. Avoid concentrated rubbing on a single spot, test any new permitted cleaner on a discreet area and ask the installer if a stain will not come off with the approved method. Promptly removing cooking residue can reduce the need for aggressive cleaning.
Hinges and drawer runners
Keep water and cleaners away from hardware and dry accidental moisture. Follow the load and maintenance instructions for the installed parts. Do not add lubricant or change fixings without checking the manufacturer’s guidance. Report rubbing or unusual movement rather than testing the drawer with extra weight.
Moisture and ventilation
Check the area around the sink and joints for visible moisture and arrange prompt investigation of a persistent leak.
